Just a thought on Twitter (I haven't read the other articles yet), I feel that this sort of shift to FriendFeed is inevitable for all these social networking sites. There's always a Next One, something a little better and a little cooler. First we all loved Friendster, then My Space, now we love Facebook, and soon we'll love Bebo. We'll keep moving and shifting to greener pastures--or until one giant corporation buys them all up and makes them into one. It's exhausting keeping up with it all. And just as soon as AHA figures out which one is cool...it's not cool anymore. :)
